Most people don’t know this about me but I am a very spiritual person. I feel that on my blog I don’t post so much that side of me but recently I have been feeling the need to express more. Recently in my life I have been doing many productive habits and making major adjustments to my life which I will open up more about in my future posts. Anyways, let’s get to it!
I have noticed a lot of people may go through life with no sense of purpose or true joy. They show no attention to the fact that they aren’t happy and never address the mindset and choices that led to their unhappiness. But if they did they might be able to reverse it or tip the scale. Most people have limiting beliefs, so their life is limited. They believe life is hard or a challenge with sadness and are miserable so they live a life with many “challenges”. They may believe consciously or subconsciously their best days are behind them. They believe fitting in, and wearing a mask will them a better easier life then being their true self and following their true passions. Their happiness is dependent on what happens and they are not in control of their life, life is in control of them. If you are able to apply these 7 empowering beliefs, life will work more for you. Blessings will appear, the magic will happen around you, and the joy that is inside of you will start rising!
- You decide how you feel, no matter the circumstance.
“Your thoughts and attitude change your experiences and shape your life.” What allows people to succeed? They realize it is not what has happened to them in their lives, but the way in which they decide to respond to certain occurrences is what will shape his or her feelings, actions and results. Life doesn’t always go as planned and adversity is something that everyone faces at some point in his or her life. The difficult and trying times however are not what define us, but the way in which we react to them is what reveals our true character. It all lies within ourselves to be successful in life or not. We can choose to live the life we want, no matter how tough it can get. It is all a matter of mentality. Only we can prevent ourselves from achieving greatness. The rest are just small detours before we reach our destinations. Knowledge comes from everything we do and everything that happens to us. We learn valuable lessons over time based on our experiences and the ways in which we react to them. Every hardship presents an opportunity, we just need to recognize that instead of letting it defeat us. Too many times we rush into decisions during difficult times, only to regret them later on. In that moment, our responses are clouded and our judgment is askew. So stay true to your intentions no matter the circumstance. The only environment we have control of is our internal one, so the way we interpret situations is the only control we have over them.
2. You have so much to be thankful for.
Every morning I write 10 things I am grateful for and why. Developing an attitude of gratitude is so important for the appreciation of the gift of life. A grateful heart is a magnet that attracts more blessings. When we are grateful for the abundance that’s present; love, health, family, friends, work, the joys of nature and personal pursuits that bring us pleasure, the wasteland of illusion falls away and we experience “heaven on earth.” Gratitude will change a life of emptiness to one of fulfillment. When you allow your heart to open to the universe’s flow of love, gratitude comes with that flow. Gratitude for being alive, for existing, for being in the flow of the adventure of life. Gratitude for the sun that gives us life. Gratitude for your eye sight to read this, your sense of touch to hug the one you love, the Earth that gives us our home in the cosmos. gratitude for the people that you love, and for those who share your journey through life with you.
“Gratitude flows unimpeded from an open heart. When you allow it, it flows as freely as the sunshine, unobstructed by judgments or conditions.”
3. Being yourself attracts the right people.
We are often not who we want to be, but what society expects. What our desires are, how different our opinions or perceptions are, in comparison to others. Be and know specifically the kind of person you want to attract in your professional and personal life. Put yourself out there in the crowd by meeting new people and spending time with new people. Talk to people as you can and let them know who you really are. The more you participate out loud, the more people are going to notice the real genuine you. Everyone knows, like attracts like. Radiate that positive being that you are and more positivity beings will flow to you.
4. Kindness always wins.
Having a genuine innate interest in the well being of others is the essence of humanity. Make kindness a priority every moment of the day and you’ll find that even the most difficult situations become more manageable. How? By discovering that adversity is actually a gift meant to teach valuable lessons such as patience, introspection, and self control. Kindness or initiating a positive action without any expectations in return is good for you, the person you’re directing the kindness to, and those who witness. Whether you smile, give a compliment, volunteer your time, make a donation, hold the door open for someone, present a gift, you’re sharing kindness.
5. You have so much to offer.
“No one is you and that is your power” is one of my favorite quotes. There will always be someone who needs what you have to give. You might be gorgeous, brilliant, an inventor, and talented. You may have intelligent opinions and thoughtful ideas to share, love to give, skills and abilities that could contribute to the world. Some days you may not feel like you’re that important, but everyone in this world is so important and has something to offer. You have the ability to change the world, to even change someone else’s world. You have a purpose and you’re certainly here for a reason, unless you embrace that, you will never discover what your purpose is in life. Everyone is created differently and there will never be anyone else like you. You are completely unique, and that is definitely something to take pride in.
6. You are capable of anything.
Say it out loud! “I am capable of anything!” It feels so good to affirm that. You are worth it and deserve happiness and to achieve your goals. You are alive because you have a purpose. You are unique and the more you learn the more you will grow. If you think back on all of your life thus far you will realize all of the achievements, greatness, and things you are capable of. Give yourself credit that you made it through your worst days and that brings me to….
7. The best is yet to come.
Lately I have really been realizing that these are the best days! The now is the best and it keeps getting better and better. One door closes and I promise a new one with greater abundance will open for you. You are blessed. What would you attempt or what could you achieve if you knew your best was yet to come? Well guess what? It is, your best is yet to come. Look yourself in the mirror every morning and tell yourself “MY BEST IS YET TO COME.” Believe it, and live that belief. Create something in your life that make the best results!
