I Love Halloween. I wish we can dress up in costumes every month. We celebrated Halloween in Disney this year and we did a few festivities this week prior. I thought Darius wouldn’t wear his hat because I had just woke him up from a nap but he was so ready to wear his hat and outfit. He wanted to hold the hatchet and wack all the ghosts with it on the front lawn. I just eventually started laughing so hard, Darius’ hat kept falling, and it is not easy getting a toddler to stay in the frame. Atlas just eventually sat there and laid down haha he was a good sport. We ordered Atlas a matching costume 2 weeks prior to Halloween and it was supposed to be an extra large for him but it arrived and then didn’t even fit up his leg lol.
Being in front of the fire station taking photos we thought that we would get in trouble for taking photos in front of it, so when someone came out we started to walk to the car to leave. The guy opens the door to offer us to come in for a tour. We were shocked, we thought we were going to get yelled at lol. This fireman Cody gave us an awesome tour of the brand new fire station, hold the fire house (which was SO heavy, didn’t know that), showed us the inside of the truck, told us some facts, and hold the iron axe. I thought Darius would be so excited given the fact all he wants to play with recently is fire trucks or when we are on the road he goes nuts for fire trucks. NOPE, he saw the firetruck and was so shocked in person I don’t even think he blinked haha. Once we left for ice cream that’s when all the excitement kicked in and it processed in his brain he saw a fire truck. He kept saying the day after “Remember I saw the firetrucks.” I love the spirit of the holidays. I am happy to see what you are all for Halloween. I love seeing everyones creative ideas.

Such fun matching costumes and your son is so adorable! It’s great you were able to tour the fire station as well! We saw a fire truck at the store once, the fire fighters were grabbing some food, no fires or anything, and the kids wanted a photo. Once of the firefighters gave them stickers when they came back, they were thrilled!
