Moving to the Mountains: A Winter Wonderland Journey

After 17 years in the warmth, we felt called to something different — to seasons, stillness, and a slower rhythm of life. We chose a mountain area that typically only sees a few inches of snow each year… and somehow, our very first winter brought the biggest snowstorm in over 30 years. ❄️ What I was hoping for was a gentle introduction that turned into a true winter wonderland at the farm. The horses ran through fresh powder, the dogs played endlessly, and everything felt quiet and magical. Moments like this remind me exactly why we made this move — to build, to grow, and experience.
